PAP conference about sedentary lifestyle as the fourth leading cause of death in the world under the National Health Program of the Ministry of Health
"Sedentary lifestyle as the fourth cause of death in the world" - National Health Program of the Ministry of Health prescribe to increase the physical activity of Polish society" this is the title of a press conference organized by Eleven Zett Productions in the headquarters of the Polish Press Agency on September 12, 2017. The conference was aimed at making us aware of how a negative impact on our health has a sedentary lifestyle.
The event: "Walk for Health - Invite Your Doctor!" was also announced. The event, will take place on September 30, 2017 in six Polish cities: Chrzanów, Oświęcim, Sandomierz, Skierniewice, Tarnobrzeg and Żyrardów. The purpose of the event organized by the Perła Wellness is to encourage Poles to exercise regularly. The project is financed by the Ministry of Health and implemented under the National Health Program.
Among the experts was: Anna Plucik-Mrożek - medical director of the National Center for Exercise Is Medicine in Poland and the originator of the program "Walk for health - Invite Your Doctor!", Cardiologist Professor Artur Mamcarz, Professor Mirosław Wielgoś - Rector of Warsaw Medical University, Professor Ewa Kozdroń from the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation of the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw and representatives of all cities taking part in this year's Health Walk. The conference was led by Małgorzata Perl - founder of Perła Wellness Club, Director of the National Center for Exercise Is Medicine in Poland.
