I “The Heart of the Patient” Forum of the Polish Cardiac Society

From June 2019, the Eleven ZETT Productions agency widely participated in the preparations of the first edition of “The Heart of the Patient” Forum of the Polish Cardiac Society, a unique initiative whose idea were educating cardiological patients and their families and strengthening cooperation between the medical community and patient organizations. The event took place

on September 28 at the International Congress Center in Katowice, attracting up to 400 participants from all over Poland.

During four thematic blocks (Patient after myocardial infarction, Patient with valve disease, Patient with heart failure, Patient with arrhythmia) the gathered learned most interesting facts about heart and vessels diseases presented by the largest Polish experts in the field of cardiology. Representatives of patient organizations could participate in dedicated workshops devoted to the third sector. One of the lectures (Public Relations in healthcare: patient organizations, experts, media, sponsors - how to organize it?) was conducted by Ewelina Zych-Myłek, expert in healthcare communication and CEO of IQ / Eleven ZETT Productions. “The Heart of the Patient” Forum of the Polish Cardiac Society was also an interesting debate about medical-patient cooperation, attended by representatives of both environments and decision-makers, free basic and cardiological tests for volunteers and the fascinating thematic block "Patient in the lead role", during which we heard inspiring stories and real cases.

Thanks to agency’s activities as many as 17 partner patient organizations, 9 honorary patrons and 21 media patrons joined the event.
