XI Interventional CardioVascular Forum – Ustroń Winter 2018
About the Project
On March 22-23 Eleven Zett Productions team participated in XI Interventional CardioVascular Forum in Ustroń. The annual meeting of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, residents, nurses and representatives of the Polish medical industry was devoted this year to the treatment of heart structural diseases, including in particular advanced coronary disease and atherosclerosis, and the practical use of telemedicine in cardiology. In addition, during the conference, participants could watch live cases of revascularization and learn about specialized methods and techniques for treating heart structural diseases in practice.
An important educational value of the Conference were innovative revascularization procedures in the form of live cases - that is, direct live broadcasts of treatments done by teams of doctors at the Polish-American Heart Clinics in Ustroń and Bielsko-Biała. Among the presented treatments there were treatments of rotablation or the use of resorbable magnesium scaffold in the treatment of coronary heart disease. Live cases were conducted by teams with: prof. Paweł Buszman MD, PhD (CEO, American Heart of Poland), Krzysztof Milewski MD, PhD (General Director, Center for Cardiovascular Research and Development) and Piotr Buszman MD, PhD (Preclinical Research Director, Center for Cardiovascular Research and Development).
